Frequently Asked Questions
-
We’ll work on just about any phone or tablet you bring us, as well as MacBooks. There are a few exceptions, but it’s rare we turn away a repair solely based on the model of device.
-
Our prices vary based on the device model, labor difficulty, and part cost. While we won’t break down how we come up with the final prices, we’re confident that they’re competitive and fair. Head over to our Contact Page if you’d like an estimate.
-
Yes! It’s one of the things that separates us from less reputable repair shops. Generally, we offer a 3 month warranty on repairs. Batteries come with a 1 year warranty. That being said, our warranty covers defects and malfunctions, not damage.
-
Unfortunately, we do not work with any insurance companies. However, if your device is non-operational and you don’t have it backed up, we can help temporarily fix your broken phone to move your data into the replacement device.
-
Since we have a wide variety of customers, we love to give people multiple options at different price points. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts boast remarkably consistent quality while aftermarket parts are cheaper and have been our go-to since we opened in 2008. Regardless of which option you go with, we offer the same warranty to ensure your satisfaction.
Apple’s OEM repair parts are very hard for shops to obtain. They are very expensive and you have to apply to even be allowed to purchase them. We’re proud to be able to offer these parts to our customers.
-
As long as it’s a device we can work on, you’re welcome to source your own part for the repair. In fact, there are some devices we cannot get parts for, so it’s sometimes necessary, However, if you bring your own part, we cannot offer a warranty on it.

We are walk-in based, so there’s no need to call ahead to let us know you’re stopping by. However, consultations do require an appointment since we need to make sure we have enough people on the clock.
-
All of our repairs can be done same day, though there are rare exceptions. Most phone repairs take under an hour, though some require up to three hours. iPad/tablet and MacBook repairs are generally three hours as well. Some repairs require us to order in parts, which typically arrive in two business days, though batteries take longer to come in. If we order parts for your repair, you’re welcome to keep your device until they arrive.
-
Absolutely! We have some seating if you want to hang out with us, but it’s perfectly fine if you need to drop it off and take care of other business. We’ll let you know about when your device will be ready and can take down an alternate phone number to let you know it’s ready.
-
After we finish a repair, we like to test functionality before handing your device back to you. Generally, this means that we ask for you passcode when we take in repairs. We take your privacy very seriously and will only go into your phone’s Settings app to copy down a couple numbers for warranty purposes. However, we also recognize that some people are not allowed to give anybody access to their information or just don’t feel comfortable with it. In these cases, just let us know, and we’ll carry out our post-repair testing with you so you don’t have to tell us your passcode.
